Cappadocia

Kaymaklı Underground City is another fascinating site displaying the ingenuity of ancient dwellers who dug out intricate networks of tunnels, storage facilities, living quarters, and places of worship under the earth’s surface. The Ihlara Valley Ruins is also an exciting destination with ancient cave dwellings, churches, and monasteries built into the canyon’s walls. The Pasabağı Valley Ruins and Zelve Open Air Museum are impressive ruins with unique rock formations, while Üç Hisar Castle is a remarkable ancient fortress. The region also features beautiful religious sites like the St. Vasillios Church, St. Gregory of Nyssa Church, and St. Gregory Church, displaying impressive Byzantine frescoes and architecture.

Tour Program

Day 1: Istanbul
Upon your arrival, you will be picked you up from the Istanbul New Airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul
Full Day Byzantine & Ottoman Relics Tour. After breakfast approximately at 8:30 am, pick up from your hotel to begin the full day tour. Visit Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar and Topkapı Palace. After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (B)

Day 3: Istanbul – Nevşehir / Cappadocia
After breakfast pick up from hotel, transfers to Airport for flight to Nevşehir, arrival, transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight to hotel in Cappadocia. (B/D)

Day 4: Cappadocia
Full Day Tour. After breakfast around 9:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel to join the full day tour of Cappadocia. Your tour will start with a visit to the Pasabag Valley in Zelve to see the unique fairy chimneys. Next, you will visit Ürgüp, Göreme, Üçhisar, churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Returning to your hotel, diner. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B/D). Optional Tour ; Hot Air Balloon.

Day 5: Cappadocia
After breakfast optional tour Full day Kaymaklı Underground City, evening optional Turkish Night, came back to your hotel, overnight in Cappadocia. (B/D)

Day 6: Istanbul
After breakfast check out from hotel (before 12:00), transfer to Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Transfer from Airport to your hotel, accommodation and overnight in Istanbul. (B/D)

Day 7: Istanbul
After breakfast check out from hotel (before 12:00), transfer to Istanbul New Airport as per your international flight details. End of tour.
