Çanakkale

Konya Mevlana Museum is a popular museum located in the city of Konya, Turkey. The museum is dedicated to Mevlana, a famous Persian poet and Sufi mystic who founded the Whirling Dervishes order. The museum houses the tomb of Mevlana as well as a collection of his personal belongings and other religious artifacts.

 
Visitors can also see exhibits detailing the life and teachings of Mevlana, as well as learn about the history and culture of the Whirling Dervishes. One of the main features of the museum is the sema ceremony, a traditional dance performed by the Whirling Dervishes, which takes place regularly inside the museum.

Pamukkale

Tour Program

DAY 1: ISTANBUL
Meet at Istanbul Airport, full day tour, visit Hippodrome, center of sporty (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating Hippodrome. Then visit the Hagia Sophia (outside) now called the Ayasofya Museum, built by Constantine the Great and Blue Mosque. Break for lunch at Turkish restaurant, afternoon, we will visit Grand Bazaar and aromatic Spice Bazaar, where the smells of cinnamon, cloves and thyme. Visit Topkapı Palace, the Harem sections were where the sultans lived together with their families. After tour transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight in Istanbul. (L/D)

DAY 2: ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, Optional Tour Dolmabahçe Palace & Rumeli Castle, Ortaköy, lunch at traditional restaurant on optional tour, dinner and overnight in Istanbul. (B/ L/ D)

DAY 3: ISTANBUL – ÇANAKKALE – AKÇAY / 435 km
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick up you from hotel departure to Çanakkale by bus, pass Dardanelle by ferry, lunch break on Turkish traditional restaurant, visit Troy ancient, Ancient City of Assos, Monument of Martyrs and Anzac Bay, continue the way to Akçay, dinner and overnight at hotel in Akçay. DAY 4: AKÇAY – AYVALIK – IZMIR – KUŞADASI / 285 km
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick up you from hotel transfer to Kuşadası, coast of Aegean Sea and Ida Mountain aria, visit Şirince Wine Town, famous on fruit wine, you can taste or shop. During the way break for lunch, there are a lot of small lakes, ponds, about 30 streams, 10 waterfalls, recreations areas and so many beauties which everyone feels as walking in the paradise, dinner and overnight at hotel in Kuşadası. Day 5: KUŞADASI – PAMUKKALE / 180 km
After breakfast at the hotel, In the morning drive to Selçuk Town and stop at Leather Outlet on the way, see leather fashion show and shopping time, then visit the famous ancient city of Ephesus, one of the world’s finest archaeological sites. Highlights include the Library of Celsius, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Theatre. After tour drive to Pamukkale, lunch on local restaurant, visit the Antique City of Hierapolis where Calcareous hot springs descending over cliff shave created fascinating travertines in the form of white terrace and basins. Arrive to hotel, dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B/ L/ D)
Day 6: PAMUKKALE – KONYA – CAPPADOCIA / 600 km
After breakfast at hotel around 08:00 am departure to Cappadocia, stop in Konya visit Mevlana Museum, break for lunch on local restaurant, continue the way to Cappadocia, arrive, accommodation at hotel, dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B/ L/ D)

Day 7: CAPPADOCIA
OPTIONAL (Early in the morning): Exclusive one-hour hot air balloon ride; After breakfast, we will visit Göreme Open Air Museum include the Apple Church, the Church of Sandals, and the Church with a Buckle, Natural Fortress in Üçhisar, where you can capture a panoramic view of the beautiful plateau. Break for lunch on local restaurant, Next visit Pasabag valley in Zelve area where monks used to live in seclusion in rock cut rooms. We visit the Valleys of Göreme to explore the unusual troglodyte dwellings, remains of the early churches comprising complicated rooms hollowed out of the cones of volcanic ash and decorated with scratched frescoes. Then visit Avanos Village followed by the famous local pottery and carpet shows allowing ample time for shopping. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B/ L/ D)

Day 8: CAPPADOCIA – ANKARA / 300 km
After breakfast at hotel departure to Ankara, break for lunch, during the way visit Salt Lake arrive in Ankara visit Anatolian Civilization Museum, dinner and overnight at hotel in Ankara. (B/ L/ D)

Day 9: ANKARA
After breakfast check out from hotel (at 12:00), transfers to Airport Esenboğa for departure to your country.
