GALLIPOLI – TROY

Gallipoli is a peninsula in Turkey that was the site of a World War I battle between the Allied Powers (including Australia and New Zealand) and the Ottoman Empire. The battle took place between April 25, 1915, and January 9, 1916, and resulted in a victory for the Ottoman Empire.
Troy, on the other hand, is an ancient city located in northwestern Turkey. The city gained fame from Homer’s epics, the Iliad and Odyssey, which tell the story of the Trojan War. The city was destroyed and rebuilt nine times, with the most famous incarnation being the Troy of the Bronze Age.
Today, both Gallipoli and Troy are popular tourist destinations for visitors to Turkey. The former offers visitors a chance to explore the battlefields and memorials of one of the bloodiest battles of World War I, while the latter provides tourists with a chance to walk in the footsteps of legends and explore one of the most famous ancient cities in the world.

Tour Program

Day 1: Istanbul
Upon your arrival, you will be picked you up from the Istanbul New Airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (B)

Day 2: Istanbul
Full Day Byzantine & Ottoman Relics Tour. After breakfast approximately at 8:30 am, pick up from your hotel to begin the full day tour. Visit Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, break lunch (extra) Grand Bazaar and Topkapı Palace. After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (B)

Day 3: Istanbul -Bursa
After breakfast around 7:30 am you will be pick up from your hotel to join the full day tour of Green Bursa former Ottoman Capital, visit Grand Mosque, Green Mosque, Cover Bazaar lunch will be served on the Turkish traditional restaurant. Continue to UluDağ Mountain by cable car where you will enjoy the natural beauty view. After tour transferred to Istanbul, overnight in Bursa. (B)

Day 4: Bursa – Pamukkale / 575 Km
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick up you from hotel to departure for Pamukkale, during the way break for lunch (extra) driving to Pamukkale, arrive, accommodation at hotel, dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B/D)

Day 5: Pamukkale – Antalya / 240 Km
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick up you from hotel for four hrs. Pamukkale tour, you will see the Hierapolis Ruins and Cotton Castle ; one of the natural wonders of the world formed by deposits of calcareous salts, pools in air open, break for lunch (extra) and drive to Antalya. Arrival, accommodation, dinner and overnight in Antalya. (B/D)

Day 6: Antalya
After breakfast free time, optional Rafting tour –Beşkonak __ usd/person included rafting, lunch, transfer, comeback to hotel, dinner and overnight in Antalya. (B/D)

Day 7: Antalya
After Breakfast at the hotel, optional tour; Aspendos- Kurşunlu Waterfall __ usd/ person, included transfers, entry fees, lunch, dinner at hotel, overnight in Antalya. (B/D)

Day 8: Antalya
After breakfast check out from hotel (before 12:00), transfer to Antalya Airport as per your international flight details. End of tour. (B)
